Community first!

About the SHBCW

St Helena Bay Community Watch was founded in 2022 by concerned residents of St Helena Bay, in a response to the crime rate and housebreakings.

SHBCW works closely with all security companies in St Helena Bay, St Helena Bay SAPS, St Helena Bay CPF and other neighbourhood watches in the West Coast and Western Cape. SHBCW is also a member of the St Helena Bay CPF, and the Saldanha Bay Safety Initiative and works closely with the Saldanha Bay Municipality Department of Public Safety.
SHBCW adopted the Owl as their logo, which symbolises the community looking out for each together and always having watchful eyes.
SHBCW has since diversified to include other functions, such as the Night Owl camera network and we are looking at more projects we can get involved with. As such the Neighbourhood Watch has since became one of the organisations within the St Helena Bay community watch portfolio.
